In Person Preparation

Virtual Preparation

We know it can be difficult to make time for your appointment. That is why we have a new way of filing your federal tax returns. All you have to do is download the application and submit your information. It is important to use the referral link because it will allow us to pull it from our system.

Documents You Need To Bring To Your Appointment
2023 Season

Provide the following only if you have them

  • Form 1095-A if you had coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace

  • Documents from the IRS

Bring the following personal documents:

  • Personal Identification

  • Social Security Cards OR ITIN (not expired) numbers

  • Birth Dates

  • Bank Account Number and Routing Number

  • 2022 Tax Return (optional)

  • Dependent Information

If you received any of the following expenses:

  • Retirement contributions, including a 401(k) or IRA

  • State and local taxes paid

  • Mortgage statements and property tax bills if you are a homeowner

  • College tuition (1098-T)

  • Student loan statements (Form 1098-E)

  • Childcare expenses, including payment records or receipts and provider’s name, address, and federal tax ID number (either their Social Security Number or Employment Identification Number)

  • Receipts for charitable donations

  • Medical and dental bills

  • Records for supplies used as an educator

Bring income tax forms such as:

  • W2 Forms

If Self Employed:

  • 1099 NEC or 1099K income

  • Expenses for your 1099NEC & Schedule C

Other Income:

  • Unemployment Income (1099-G)

  • State/Local Taxes (1099-G)

  • 1099-R (Disability)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Once you have created an account and uploaded your documents allow for up to 48 hours to hear back from your preparer about your return. If you forget to upload documents and you haven’t finalized your return you can do so at any moment. If you accidentally upload a document, just let us know through the chat option that the information was inaccurate.

  • Our application allows us to communicate with you through the app by using the chat option. Through there you can ask any questions regarding your return. We advice you turn on notifications for the app otherwise you will not get notified if we respond. If you prefer a different way of communicating you can contact us through our email, phone, or setting up a virtual appointment.

  • Once your return has been finalized and transmitted, you will have to amend your return to make a change. This service is a separate fee. If you have any questions about this process, contact us. If you have received your refund already, you may qualify for additional credits or may disqualify, meaning you may owe money back.

  • There is Where Is My Refund Tool that the IRS has to check your refund status. We recommend that you create an account with the IRS to receive updates faster.

  • The IRS issues most refunds in less than 21 calendar days. However, it’s possible your tax return may require additional review and take longer. Where Is My Refund Tool has the most up to date information available about your refund.

Track your federal refund.

If you have filed your taxes and haven’t received your refund, check your status today. You can check on your status by simply inputting your data into the IRS Check Your Refund tool with your tax information.

Make a tax payment.

Make your IRS payment for your tax balance due. The IRS accepts full and partial payments, including payments toward a payment plan (including installment agreement). Penalties and interest will continue to grow until you pay the full balance.
